The story of
Kendra Wurdeman. . .
I was born on a
beautiful May day in Lincoln, NE. The
temperature that day was about 68.5 °F. JUST KIDDING! You don’t need to know all of
that. I grew up in St. Edward, a lovely small town in rural Nebraska.
I consider myself a farm girl even though it was more “ranch” than farm. I grew up with lots of family support not
only from my parents but also grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins,
adoptive parents, adoptive siblings, etc.
I met the Lord in a personal way when I was in high school and from
there started the dance of trying to figure out how to follow him. I didn’t always do the best job, but that
Lord is a persistent guy and finally he was able to hit me over the head
with a 2x4 hard enough that it sunk in a bit. I am now trying to live my life by following him
and loving the people he places into it.
