FOCUS is a national organization that I became involved with through a friend of mine who attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln.  FOCUS missionaries work with students to help them meet the person of Jesus Christ in a real way every single day.  My friend Emily German became involved with the UNL Newman Center and through that FOCUS.  When we would call and talk to each other she would tell me about her FOCUS bible study, FOCUS Greek nights, and her one on one meetings with a missionary every week.  So when she asked me if I wanted to attend a FOCUS Greek conference my junior year I said YES! I had such a great time at the conference and it was so exciting to see so many college Greek students on fire for Jesus and actively working on their relationship with him.  My senior year of college I attended the national FOCUS conference in Orlando, Florida where 6,000 college students attended.  Since that time Jesus really helped me to grow in my faith and prepared me to apply and accept a position with FOCUS as a missionary this year.
